The games Community Manager also relayed the news (side note: be nice to your Community Managers, please). It will be worth it!įor those wondering, that's a simultaneous release on PC and Console at the same time, which should arrive by 1PM BST for those in the UK.

We expect that process to be complete in the early morning, so we'll be launching simultaneously on all platforms at 8 AM Eastern June 3rd. Writing on Twitter, the team said: Genesis Part 2 is currently finishing the automated certification process. As expected the release has been delayed, but only by a few more hours. June 3, 2AM BST: Finally an update from the team. The hype train has well and truly left the station. We've also just remembered that David Tennant provides the voice for Sir Edmund Rockwell. Once we are fully online on *every* network, I'll unleash Cedric to let you all know via it sounds like it might be rolling out for some, potentially in a few territories, but not all. That's not a good enough excuse."We're doing final preparations to get the servers online. These creatures (despite two of them presumably being suggested as a joke) were requested by a users in previous comments. (In single player, couch co-op, not more than two people) The ps4 system can handle it. Size comparisons of ARK Therizinosaurus VS Real Therizinosaurus, ARK Dragon VS Real Komodo Dragon, and ARK Maewing VS Real Platypus. From what I've read so far not a single problem was reported from basically a no tether gameplay.

It is easy because they already did it on accident then removed it. I'm just saying to increase it, perhaps to double or so of what it is now. I'm not suggesting the removal of the tether. So yeah, removing the tether would result into performance issues more than anything else. If there was no tether and players could go separate way, the server-side would have to do more works as there would be more actors rendered that would have to think each frame, etc. The difference between a dedicated server and a non-dedicated session is that like their name suggest one is dedicated solely to run the server-side logic of the game while the other has to run both server and client. The tether is there for a reason and that reason is that your console couldn't handle it. This is unacceptable considering the new Xbox has a tether distance of 1700m. It may sounds an easy fix, but it really isn't. On at 4:10 PM, Tayce said: PlayStation 5 currently has no option to increase the maximum 300m tether distance. However, there are plenty of great communities out there you could join.

I believe only licensed hosts can provide PS4 dedicated servers so I don't think you can host it yourself. Download of this product is subject to the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and our Software Usage Terms plus any specific additional conditions applying to this product.
